ZeroFailBattery Project Officially Launched
The ZeroFailBattery project officially started last week with a successful kick-off event hosted at the University of Oulu.
The first seminar day brought together project partners to exchange technical insights, align project objectives, and initiate collaborative activities across the consortium. The event was followed by the Steering Group Meeting, during which the strategic direction, work structure, and upcoming milestones of the project were established.
ZeroFailBattery is a Business Finland funded initiative focused on bridging the gap between industrial reality and academic expertise in heavy-duty electrification applications. The project combines industrial experience with academic research to advance innovation in lithium-ion battery technologies, system modeling, and battery testing methodologies.
The consortium includes a strong network of industrial and academic partners: AGCO Power Oy, Proventia, Lumikko Oy, Powertrain Innovation Group, Kokkolan Autohuolto Oy, BÖÖÖ Media, Academic Partners, University of Oulu and SEAMK - Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences.
The project aims to strengthen collaboration between industry and academia while supporting the development of reliable and high-performance electrification solutions for heavy-duty applications.
