PAVEWAY project kickoff
The official kick-off of the PAVEWAY project was launched at the University of Oulu, funded by Business Finland, together with our research and industry partners.
PAVEWAY is an ambitious initiative aimed at unifying complex engineering processes across sectors such as maritime, power generation, and industrial automation. The project focuses on leveraging model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and advanced simulation technologies to support virtual validation during the earliest stages of product development.
By integrating simulation-driven engineering and real operational data, PAVEWAY enables early risk detection, continuous product improvement, and more informed decision-making for increasingly complex digital-mechanical systems. The project also supports the transition toward sustainable energy solutions, including hydrogen- and ammonia-based technologies, while helping industries adapt to evolving environmental and regulatory requirements.
Through the development of configurable digital engineering platforms, PAVEWAY seeks to accelerate innovation, reduce costly late-stage design changes, and strengthen Finland’s position in advanced zero-carbon technology development.
We look forward to the collaboration and the exciting work ahead.
